Motorbike Dismantling

Our motorbike dismantling turns unrepairable bikes into reusable parts and recycled metal.

Our motorbike dismantling turns a bike that is no longer worth repairing into reusable parts and recyclable materials. We work step by step so nothing useful is wasted.

How motorbike dismantling works

We remove the fluids and the battery first, then take off the bodywork, fuel tank and seat so we can remove and check the engine, gearbox, forks and wheels.

We clean and tag the parts that pass inspection, and send the stripped frame and remaining metal to recycling.

Dismantling versus repairing

For older or heavily damaged bikes, dismantling often recovers more value than a repair bill would justify, especially when the parts are still sought after. That is when we buy the bike to dismantle it.

Dismantling Process

What Happens When We Wreck a Motorbike

We start every motorbike wreck with depollution: we drain the fuel, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid and remove the battery for recycling.

Fluids drained and stored for proper disposal

Lead-acid and lithium batteries removed

Engines, forks, wheels and ECUs saved for reuse

Frames and alloy parts sent to metal recycling

We then dismantle the bike and check the engine, gearbox, forks, wheels and electrics so they can be kept for reuse.

Motorbike Recycling

Repair or Wreck?

Bikes That Are Better Wrecked Than Repaired

When repairs would cost more than the motorcycle is worth, we buy it and wreck it for parts.

Seized engines, cracked frames or flood-damaged electrics

Old learner and LAMS bikes that are no longer worth fixing

Statutory write-offs that cannot be re-registered

Project bikes that were never finished
